THE CARTHOUSE
A beautiful double height barn conversion mixing contemporary and character features, which sleeps 4. Full height glass panels to both the front and rear of the property allow light to stream in, with trifold doors opening onto the private terraced garden.
Bedroom & Bathroom
Climb the winding oak staircase to reveal the pretty boho bedroom. With a show stopping cane framed king-sized bed which sits surrounded by unique hand painted furniture and treasured finds. Through the sliding barn can be found the stylish ensuite, with twin sinks, large free standing bath and heated towel rails. This room feels like a real hideaway. The downstairs bedroom leads off the kitchen dining area, with warm oak floors, a magnificent rattan king-sized bed which is festooned with vintage chintz cushions and a splash of gold. Tucked to the side is a neat ensuite wet room.
Kitchen & Living
We love this double height living space that once stored the farm carts. Now a really contemporary, modern living space with acres of light and trifold doors, allowing you to bring the outside in. Cosy up by the fire, with the blankets and cushions creating the perfect space for friends or family to share wonderful memories.
Garden & Terrace
Bring the outside in by folding back the trifold doors to reveal a large, enclosed terrace and lawn area. Enjoy sitting out all year round on the rattan style table and chairs with a luxurious central gas fire table. Bubble away the days in the luxury hot tub and catch the evening sun. The ideal space for creating memories.
To the front of the barn, accessed from the living room there is a newly planted wildlife garden. With lavender, buddleia, fruit trees and cottage garden plants this garden will attract butterflies and bees during the spring and summer months. There is a small terrace and bench to enjoy a coffee and catch the morning sun. Take a few minutes to watch the activities of the farmyard as the seasons change.
