THE FORGE
A beautiful spacious one bedroom barn conversion with character features, which sleeps 2 (+ sofabed). Where country style meets mid-century aesthetic. The Forge has undergone extensive restoration and sympathetic conversion and is now a lovely place with a secluded, tranquil feel. It is the perfect rural escape for couples.
Bedroom & Bathroom
Up the oak open-tread staircase you will find the open plan bedroom with a sumptuous king size bed, dressed with cotton bedding and luxury velvet bed spread and throws. Fluffy towels and bath robes mean you can enjoy the slipper bath, which is positioned in the bedroom, overlooking the double height kitchen, through a glass screen. The light and airy bedroom is decorated in restful tones and flooded with light from the round window and skylight. Tucked to the side there is a neat ensuite, with a large shower and heated towel rail.
Kitchen & Living
Enjoy breakfast in the large double height country style kitchen, with the view from the French doors to the terrace garden. Relax on the corner sofa and snuggle up on colder evenings watching the retro wood burner. Tucked under the stairs, get lost in your favourite book in the reading corner, or catch up on some TV! There is a small downstairs cloakroom, ideal for hanging your coats or washing your hands after a walk through the country.
Garden & Terrace
Leading out of the French doors from the kitchen is an enclosed neat terrace area. With a rattan style table and chairs for two with a parasol. The perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee and catch the sun. Relax the day away in the luxury hot tub or watch the stars on a peaceful evening.
*Due to the open plan layout and staircase The Forge is not recommended for families with toddlers or young children.
*There is one low beam between the lounge and kitchen.
*There is no physical door on the bedroom, it is an open plan bedroom.

Each barn has its own private terrace, with outside seating. There is also a communal wildlife garden where you will be able to spot butterflies, dragonflies and bumblebees

Each barn has its own hot tub nestled on their private terraces, perfect for relaxing in whilst enjoying the setting sun or even stargazing

We offer free wifi so that you can stay connected during your trip

Log Burner
Each barn has its own log burner as well as cosy underfloor heating
